Unleash Your Inner Goddess!

21 - 27 OCTOBER 2018

This is your invitation to join us for our next goddess adventure in Bali.

If you're a woman who wants to discover or anchor in the delight of what it feels like to experience true SENSUAL PLEASURE, the Bali Bliss Retreat is perfect for you.

You will be pampered and spoilt, partake in goddess circles and ceremonies, and enjoy a selection of Bali’s best cultural and wellness activities. Treat yourself with pool side lounging, luxuriate in a leisurely spa experience, laugh and have fun with your Soulwoman sisters, enjoy deliciously healthy gourmet meals, and experience the yumminess of pure enchantment.

Ahhh... the wonders that await in Bali!

The Venue...

Bali evokes images of lush tropical gardens and sacred temples, and the reality does not disappoint.

Once again, you'll be spending six fabulous nights in a villa located in a traditional Balinese village in Ubud. You'll be immersed in deeply spiritual vibes, the exotic culture, delicious foods, and rustic décor of our luxurious private villa, situated at the end of a long, private driveway that opens up at the end to lush tropical gardens overlooking a steep ravine with a small stream below.

You'll feel like you've found a secret oasis that only you know about.

The Cuisine...

Let's get this straight from the start: Balinese food is simply delicious! And if you don't eat this or that - no worries - we are happy to accommodate any of your food preferences.

Nurdi, the in-house cook will prepare yummy healthy dishes from an Indonesian and Balinese menu with organic ingredients whenever possible, including vegetables form the villa garden. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requests can be accommodated. Nurdi is also happy to give complimentary cooking classes to whoever wants to help peel the garlic!

There are many world class restaurants in Ubud, and you'll have one free day out on the town to experience the mouth-watering cuisine if you wish. You'll find there's always something scrumptious to taste and enjoy!

Day 1 - ARRIVE (Sunday, 21 October)

As you step into the exotic heat of Bali, you'll feel as if you've entered into another world: colourful, fascinating, filled with Spirit, and deeply alluring. Your goddess journey has begun!

Arrival at the luxury villa in Ubud is at 3pm. Upon arrival you'll be served a welcome drink, and assigned a room. You'll have time to unpack, enjoy afternoon tea if you wish, and take in your surroundings.

You may want to take a leisurely dip in the pool before a traditional and authentic Balinese dinner is served. After dinner we'll get acquainted before retiring to bed for our very first night in Paradise.

Breakfast every day is served at 9.00am. After breakfast, we'll have our first goddess circle where you'll receive guidance to set intentions for your life to co-create with the Universe.

We'll do a powerful visualisation practice to anchor in your intentions, and you'll receive guidance on how to do the transformative practice of soul journaling.

After circle, you'll have time for reflection, after which you can relax and luxuriate in the villa.

Our afternoon session will be an Ecstatic Dance session. This transformative practice of putting your body in constant motion will quiet your brain, get your creative juices going, and help you reconnect with your most wonderful self.

Your delicious Balinese dinner will be served at the villa tonight.

After breakfast, we'll venture out of the villa to Monkey Forest, where mischievous simians frolic and play amongst sacred temples and lush greenery - not to be missed! We'll then enjoy lunch at a delightful restaurant in Ubud.

Our afternoon excursion is one of the highlights of our Bali Bliss retreat. You will be driven to Tirta Empul, the Water Temple in Tampaksiring. You'll see the temple grounds, gardens and the source of all the holy water in Bali, and be able to partake in a blessings ceremony in the cool water of the bathing pools.

We'll then return home for a lovely dinner at the villa.

Today we have a real treat for you. It's our massage and pampering day at the villa, before Karen will lead us in a powerful goddess ceremony.

After breakfast, you can expect to be pampered like the goddess you are. You'll be treated to an hour long Bali massage  session and mani-and-pedi  poolside or in your room. You'll be left feeling renewed, fresh, intensely relaxed and glowing.

In the early afternoon, Karen will take the lead in a handfasting ceremony.

Tonight you'll enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the spectacular Akasha restaurant at New Earth Haven just outside of Ubud, for another opportunity to sample the very best of Balinese cuisine.

Day 5 - FREE DAY (Thursday, 25 October)

Today is a free day to do as you desire. You can explore Ubud to your heart's content - and believe us, there is much to experience. Ubud is Bali's spiritual, artistic and cultural heart. It has long been known as a mystical place, rich in healing powers and important as a source of medicinal herbs and plants. In fact, it gets its name from the ancient Balinese word, 'bad', which means medicine.

You may also want to spend time at Ubud's vibrant and central market where the local people do their shopping. Captivating and colourful, everything sold in the market is either grown, crafted, or produced in Bali. Coffee beans, hardware, textiles, baskets and bamboo crafts are all available amid the rich aromas, ripe smells and organised chaos of heaped stalls.

Tonight, we'll enjoy dinner out on the town, followed by an optional excursion to the Laughing Buddha Bar for live music and dancing.

Day 6 - DRUM CIRCLE AND BALI BANQUET (Friday, 26 October)

After breakfast, we'll enjoy a drum circle lead by a Balinese drum teacher from a company that manufactures djembe drums locally, and he will bring enough drums so that each person will have one to play on. He will lead our group starting with simple and then more complicated rhythms and we'll drum (or dance) together for a good hour or so.

After the Drum Circle, Karen will lead us in a soul craft project.

In the afternoon, we'll do a Sensuality Circle and gift exchange.

Dinner will comprise of a nasi tumpeng Balinese banquet by coconut oil torchlight in the garden. The centerpiece of the dinner is a pyramid of fragrant yellow rice, the golden color representing prosperity and abundance. This nasi tumpeng is decorated with 6 or 7 dishes, condiments and sambal. You can expect handmade traditional palm and floral decorations, a selection of Indonesian and Balinese specialties, the soothing and exotic sounds of a bamboo rindik trio, and beautiful classical dancers from the village to create a dazzling and memorable experience.

Day 7 - CLOSING CIRCLE (Saturday, 27 October)

We'll enjoy our last delicious breakfast together before having our closing circle.

Check-out is at 12 noon. If you have a late flight out, you are welcome to store your bags at the villa, and if needed, you'll be offered a place to shower and freshen up before you leave for the airport.

It will be hard to say goodbye but at least we'll know that we've made memories to last a lifetime, not to mention lifelong friends...

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This has been such a yummy retreat - it truly shows the depth of each of your hearts for the feminine. Your attention to detail, your exquisite preparation, thoughtful and intentional practices and circles - you've co-created transformation for me and the beginnings of beautiful friendships. May your work together continue to expand and bless the world. It's been my privilege to connect with you both.

My heart is just glowing - truly glowing. I had no idea what I was coming to, just trusting, actually knowing it would be absolutely wonderful. It was all that and more. From the night out dancing to the quiet chats about family, I have loved being a part of your lives this week and coming to know everyone so intimately. I also have loved observing your special sister relationship - so full of love and care. I look forward to more adventures online and in-person!

Marie Laberge

There are not enough words of love and gratitude for what you have both created here and in the Circles! I love hearing your voices online and that will be more meaningful after this week. Thank you for your brilliance, joy and love. Your spirits are a blessing for us all. Lots of love.

Lesleigh Steuart

You each have become a heartbeat for me. I am so grateful as are my family... you two helped me find the courage to live, truly live my life... as Lesleigh. You have also helped to restore my faith in God and humanity.
